How to Replace Blower Motor and Blower Motor Resistor on Subaru Forester?

On Forester and previous Legacy cars with the automatic climate feature, those vehicles use a Power transistor instead of a blower motor resistor. Begin by removing the glove box panel. Unscrew the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor or power transistor, then take off its mounting screws to finish removing the resistor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Remove the blower motor by unplugging its electrical connector, taking out the mounting screws, and sliding the assembly out. Take out the fan from inside the motor, and you put everything back the way it came out.
