- Q:What is the location of the horns on Subaru Impreza?Posted by Cameron M.A:There was a time when horns were positioned right in front of the radiator and some of them also went with air conditioning condensers. Mounting brackets on which these little things are fixed are usually found on vertical support in the front of radiators as well as conditioners. Reminder: The high tone horn is mounted at the bottom of the radiator support while the low tone horn is mounted under the passenger's side headlamp housing. By removing bumper cover for 2006 and later models, it will allow an individual to replace any one horn. For either horn, release its tab thereby disconnecting electrical connector, then remove bracket bolt. It follows that disengage its mooring from this mounting bracket before pulling them out. Reattach your new item to original place by doing exactly opposite steps taken during removal.Answered by Subaru Parts Specialist Gary / Mar 16, 2026
