The mast and cable for 2003 and earlier models are on the left front corner of the roof. The cable is routed through the left A-pillar, behind the left kick panel area, under the driver's side carpet, and up into the console area where it plugs into a shorter cable that fits into the back part of radio. After that remove screws holding antenna mast base. Also remove driver's side carpeting and center console left side panel. From this point it can be traced down from A-pillar, through kick panel area, across floor pan then up to the left side of center console section. To disconnect mast cable from radio going up to it one should pull apart two halves of this connector. Fix wire in place of old antenna cord and tie it at top end via an opening which exists on A-pillar region. Then attach this wire to new aerial cord and take it back along with itself inside A-pillar passage way again . When cable is correctly reinstalled next to rubber steering column grommet where radio wires are located these two cables can be reconnected together. For 2004-07 models with rear window grid-type antennas, they are non-detachable but can be fixed as same as rear defogger system. In later year models from 2008 with rear roof antennas need removal of the fasteners from rear trim panel and stripping off trim panels as well. Next you have to bring down headliner so as to get access onto mounting nut used for fixing antenna after which you can release it completely out of roof top by unplugging all electrical connectors . Putting everything back together will be just like taking them apart only in reverse order.
