    Have an AC technician discharge and recover the refrigerant. Disconnect the battery, drain the cooling system, and disconnect the heater hoses, AC evaporator fittings, and temperature control cables. Remove the console, instrument panel, support beam, airbag control module, and blower motor housing fasteners. Lift the heater housing from the vehicle, remove the heater core tubes cover and support, and remove the heater core. Insert the new heater core, ensuring the sealing foam is in place. Reassemble the housing, install new O-rings, and reinsert the tubes. Reinstall the housing, ducts, beam, panel, console, and module. Reconnect the hoses and refrigerant lines, replace any damaged hoses, refill the radiator, and reconnect the battery. Start the vehicle, operate the heater controls, and check for leaks.
