How to Replace the Fuel Filter, Fuel Level Sensor, and Fuel Pump on a Subaru Forester?

Unplug the battery and alleviate fuel system pressure. Remove the fuel pump/level sensor from the tank. Separate the pump and holder from the assembly, disconnect the pump's electrical connector, remove the pump and disconnect the inlet strainer tube. To replace the level sensor, release the locking pawls with a screwdriver, disconnect the ground wire and electrical connectors, and remove the sensor. To replace the filter, pry the tabs away and remove the filter. Reverse the process for installation.
