Subaru Impreza Air Injection Pump

Subaru Impreza Air Injection Pump is a requirement to enhance the efficiency and safety of your vehicle. The Air Injection Pump has the ability to lower the toxic emissions since it introduces fresh air to the exhaust stream, which in turn assists in the oxidation of the unburned fuel hence leading to a more complete combustion process, which in effect lowers the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions significantly. This component is good for Subaru Impreza compatibility. It is great for a variety of models and generations of the Subaru Impreza vehicles. The Air Injection Pump operates electrically or by a belt. It works along with the air control valve, vacuum switch, diverter valve, check valves, and hoses to push air where it is needed when the engine needs it. When the engine is cold, the Air Injection Pump injects air into the exhaust ports which increases the temperature of the exhaust gases in order to help the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter reach operating temperature quickly and efficiently. When the engine warms up, the vacuum signal redirects airflow to the catalytic converter, permitting oxidation to keep on happening. Further, the diverter valve's venting of air to the atmosphere prevents backfires during deceleration, while the one-way check valve prevents the pump from receiving hot exhaust gas. A good Subaru Impreza Air Injection Pump helps keep the exhaust clean and improves fuel economy as a Subaru Impreza emissions part. The Air Injection Pump plays an important role in the functioning of the Subaru Impreza by ensuring performance reliability. The Subaru Impreza Air Injection Pump, featuring outstanding design and elements, serves as a breath of fresh air in the industry.

    A:
To replace the secondary air injection pump on 2006 and later turbo-charged models, disconnect the negative battery terminal, detach the wiring harness from the pump, remove the pump's mounting bolts, disconnect the electrical connector, lift and disconnect the air hose, then remove the pump. Reinstall in reverse order. For the secondary air combination valves, disconnect the negative battery terminal, remove the intercooler, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the air duct. Unbolt the outlet pipe, discard the old gasket, remove the left and then the right valve. Reinstall with a new gasket in reverse order.
