How to Remove and insatll the Steering Column on Subaru Impreza?

Remove the steering column covers, lower the instrument trim panel, disconnect all electrical connectors, and remove any attached components. On newer models, remove the support brace and steering column bolts, then guide the column out from the instrument panel. Secure the steering shaft to prevent turning. Align the U-joint and steering shaft marks and tighten the bolts. Installation is the reverse of removal.
