Before proceeding, you'll need to take off the shift lever knob from vehicles with manual transmission. For models built before 2005, lift the console front trim cover gently with a trim stick. After that, take out the mounting fasteners holding the console cover and tray in place. Pull off the remaining console fasteners and pull out the whole console. Installation is the reverse of removal. Proceed to remove the center console box. Pick up the trim stick to lift gently the trim piece that surrounds the shift lever, then take the entire piece off from the console. Take off both the knee bolster and the glove box lower trim panel. First unclip each side panel, then detach the front clip along with the usual six screws. Take the radio and the center console out, and putting things back in place is done in the same order as removing them.
