How to remove the steering column cover on Subaru Legacy?

Take out the cable from the negative terminal among the battery wires and unbolt the steering wheel. In case the upper half of the steering column cover needs to be untaken, then the instrument cluster trim bezel should be removed; however, the cluster trim bezel does not necessarily need to be removed so as to access the lower half of the steering column cover. Lastly, take out the screw for the steering column cover.
