How to Remove and install a Steering Wheel on Subaru Outback?

Park the vehicle, unplug the battery, and disable the airbag system. Take out the airbag module from the steering wheel and disconnect the electrical connectors. Store the module safely. Loosen the steering wheel retaining nut and use a puller to release the wheel. Disconnect the remaining connectors and remove the wheel. Position the airbag clock spring and rotate it clockwise until it stops. Align the pins on the clock spring with the steering wheel hub slots. Install the airbag module ensuring connectors are properly connected and enable the airbag system.
