  A: Disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the heat shield and differential mount front cover. Mark the rear U-joint yoke and differential pinion flange, remove the bolts and nuts attaching them, and remove the center bearing bolts. Remove the driveshaft and plug the extension housing to prevent leakage. Lubricate the sleeve yoke splines and insert into the extension housing. Raise the center bearing, install and tighten its bolts. Align the marks, connect the yoke to the flange, tighten the nuts and bolts. Reverse these steps for installation.
