The Thermostat of the Subaru Outback automatically modulates the temperature of the engine in order to keep the vehicle. The Thermostat, which is placed close to the radiator, detects the temperature of the hot coolant flowing to as well as from a vehicle's engine and opens a valve to allow more coolant to flow toward the radiator.
