How do you remove the inter cooler on the 2002 Subaru Legacy? Posted by Customer

Disconnect the PCV hoses from the PCV metal lines and disconnect the PCV metal lines from the inter cooler. Disconnect the turbocharger inlet duct and the vacuum hose from the air bypass valve. Remove the inter cooler mounting bolts. Loosen the hose clamp that secures the duct between the turbocharger and the inter cooler. Loosen the hose clamps that secure the duct between the inter cooler and the throttle body. Lift up the inter-cooler and disconnect the turbocharger duct and the throttle body duct from the inter cooler. Finally, remove the inter cooler.
