Disconnect the battery's negative terminal, loosen the front wheel lug nuts, block the rear wheels, and raise the vehicle's front. Remove the front wheels, disconnect the tie-rod ends, and remove the splash shield, exhaust pipes, crossmember plate, and stabilizer bar. Disconnect power steering lines, mark the U-joint and steering shaft relationship, and remove the U-joint pinch bolt and rack and pinion. Installation is the reverse of removal. Align U-joint and shaft marks, tighten all bolts and nuts, install wheels, lower vehicle, fill steering system with fluid, check for leaks, bleed system, and check wheel alignment.
