How to Remove and Replace a Turbocharger on Subaru Impreza?

To replace the turbocharger, disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the engine cover, intercooler, and mounting bracket. Drain the engine coolant and oil, then raise the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the center exhaust pipe and disconnect the turbocharger joint pipe. Disconnect the coolant return hose and the turbocharger from the intake duct. Remove the oil inlet line and coolant hose. Remove the right turbocharger mounting bracket and disconnect the oil outlet hose. Remove the turbocharger.
